A Summer Place

Your lake-front vacation awaits in A Summer Place. This four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home sleeps a total of 8, and offers easy access to the lake and includes a boat house. A Summer Place includes four king-sized beds, and two sets of twin bunk-beds in den. Select bedrooms have access to private baths.

The living room is complete with a big-screen television, a stone-stacked fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows to view the lake from the comfort of the couch. Meal prep is a breeze in the fully-equipped kitchen and can be served at the six-person table. A grill is also available.

For indoor fun, shoot a game of pool, or head out to the wrap-around deck to enjoy the lush greenery surrounding the lake. The large backyard includes a sunbathing deck and private sitting area. Access to the lake will truly enhance your stay and help make your Lake Toxaway getaway your most memorable vacation yet.

For your convenience, a washer and dryer is included, as well as free Wi-Fi. We apologize, but A Summer Place does not accommodate pets. Four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath lake front home in Lake Toxaway. Sleeps 8, comes with pool table, fireplace, grill, washer/dryer, boat dock, private lake access.

Optional access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club is available May-November *subject to daily resort and usage fees*

Please note, you may not trailer a boat of any kind onto the waters of Lake Toxaway. However, boat rentals are available through Lake Toxaway Marina. You may reach Lake Toxaway Marina by calling (828) 884-6919 or visiting online.

  A Summer Place was a wonderful home. We loved the central location on the lake. Rooms were perfect. Great for two families with 2 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. The kids loved the bunk beds. Great flat yard also.

  This was a fabulous location on the lake directly across from the marina and Lake Toxaway Country Club. The property was clean and well maintained. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee or cocktail and enjoying the view was delightful. There was even an office off the primary bedroom with space for my husband to work.   Every aspect of our experience was fantastic. Initial questions about properties, amenities, etc.. - easy communication. Someone reached out a week in advance to confirm we did not want access to the club - we had forgotten so that was above and beyond our expectation. The property was well kept and on a great spot near the center of the lake. We had a total of 4 couples but could easily have had more. The kitchen and grill are fully functioning and easy to cook for a crowd. You could not ask for more in a rental property.

  This house is so perfect. It's absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for two families of four. We will def return. The marina was amazing, dockhands were great. We loved grabbing Greystone Inn for dinner. It was a great experience overall.
  
  The only frustrating part of our vacation has nothing to do with the house, so will def give the house 5 STARS, it truly is a dream property. It is nice that the house comes with the option for a club membership, which we purchased. The frustrating thing is, though, that if you go to the pool they charge $15 per person, per day. That doesn't sound bad, but with four kids under 9 years old we stay at the pool for prob 60-90 minutes (to grab lunch or dinner) before we are ready for a change of scenery, so it's frustrating to have to pay $120 (per day) on top of the membership charge to use the pool. We were referred to "the binder," however w four kids we aren't exactly laying back reading manuals. Just a heads up, but this house was really amazing, we loved it and will def be back!

  Our family tremendously enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house is situated on a larger quiet lot directly across from the Greystone Inn. The site is very quiet and all you can hear with the windows open is birds and cool breezes. The house is just as lovely as presented in the brochure, very well maintained with basic kitchen supplies and laundry supplies. We opted for the daily country club membership and had a great meal outdoors at he country club. My husband and son said the golf course was very very nice and we enjoyed the very rough hike to Raven Falls (it was very tough - more of a rock scramble than a path).

  We made great memories sharing meals, playing pool and other games.

  Great week with our family celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. Location was perfect just across the water from the Inn. We rented a boat from Tony at the marina for the week and they were also excellent. Only thing I would recommend are new mattresses on the bunk beds downstairs. We had a little issue with the hot water heater, but the rental company were right on top of it with a quick response. The kitchen could use a little updating, but you don't rent this house for the kitchen. All about the location- perfect.

  We had a great stay at A summer place. There were some small items that did not work throughout the house, but nothing that was material. The ice maker was the biggest. We will definatley come back. Some additional buoys on the dock would be helpful as that spot gets a lot of boat traffic.
