McDonald Panther Ridge Home offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and is the ideal accommodation for guests looking for big views in a mountain setting. The first thing guests will notice when entering the home are the large windows and back deck with a spacious wrap-around porch, with plenty of seating that offers one-of-a-kind views that only the beauty of western North Carolina can offer.

Conveniently located near the house, guests can access Panthertown Valley hiking trails and the Lake Toxaway Marina. For your convenience, the McDonald Panther Ridge Home offers wifi.

Optional access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club is available from April - November. *subject to application and usage fees*

Please note, you may not trailer a boat of any kind onto the waters of Lake Toxaway. However, boat rentals are available through Lake Toxaway Marina. You may reach Lake Toxaway Marina by calling (828) 884-6919 or visiting online.

  We had a great time. Originally we were hesitant to pay so much for a rental, but the view made it worth it. The kitchen had everything we needed. House was clean. It's an older home, but mostly updated. Only negatives were there were many light bulbs that were out and the doors were hard to lock and close. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

  Wonderful long weekend for destination wedding at Lake Toxaway. This was our fourth rental stay at Lake Toxaway. We previously stayed closer to the country club-easy walking distance. While we were originally disapointed we could not rent a house closer to the country club, this rental ended up being a blessing because of the mountain view. A great view. We could see the dam directly out the living room window, while the view over to the right- hand side was the country club and Greystone Inn.

  The house and the entire Lake Toxaway experience was perfect for our family Thanksgiving this year. We took advantage of the Lake Toxaway Country Club and had our Thanksgiving meal there and also enjoyed the Friday "end of season" party. The home is a beautiful home with an amazing view. It could use a deep cleaning and some TLC, but nothing major and it did not detract from our stay.

  Overall the great views, especially at night, and the fact that you are in vacation outweighs some of the outdated amenities. The master is nice, however upstairs showers are lacking, as is the patio furniture. Kitchen is bigger than pictures show, however pans and grill should be brought if you intend to do serious cooking (I’d recommend going to the greystone. Food and service there exceeded even the country club). Tons of great books and a beautiful yard that is worth a visit for a place that falls squarely in the 3 star rating. Would come back.

  This was our first visit ti Lake Toxaway, and we found it to be a wonderful and friendly community. MyDonald Panther Ridge met our needs perfectly, privacy, views of the Lake, a very comfortable well equipped home. Rachel, in the rental office, and Dave Guest were extremely helpful and responsive to every issue that arose. We found the Club exceptional, great golf course, excellent food, extremely friendly staff.
  We had wildlife experiences, a mama bear and three Cubs in the driveway, a turtle laying eggs in the driveway, all a special treat.
  Then the big bonus, a boat tour of the lake with Will and Reg, and the opportunity to see the community from a different perspective.
  Lake Toxaway is a wonderful, unique, and friendly community, and McDonald Panther Ridge made our three week stay there a memorable experience.

  Beautiful setting, good location, very comfortable. The view out the living area and off the back deck was amazing! Well stocked with every thing we needed including 2 coffee makers (Drip coffee pot and Keurig). No complaints at all, although our wish list would include a little more patio furniture and getting the grill cleaned (it needed a wire brush which I couldn't find).
