Lake Toxaway luxury awaits at Thunder Bear Ranch. Sleeping 8, this inviting four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home offers plenty of space for families and groups seeking a mountain retreat. After a day of exploring, guests can unwind in one of the well-appointed sleeping quarters, including a king-sized bed, three queen beds, and a bunk set on the lower level.

Inside, the main living areas feature vaulted pine ceilings, warm wood finishes, and an open floor plan perfect for gathering. The dining room centers around a large round table, ideal for family meals, while the adjacent kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and generous counter space for meal prep. Spacious and comfortable, the living spaces create a welcoming atmosphere for relaxing together.

Thunder Bear Ranch also includes a game room with a television, board games, and a shuffleboard table—perfect for evening entertainment. Step outside to the expansive covered decks, beautifully furnished with both lounge seating and a large outdoor dining table. Surrounded by lush trees, these spaces offer a peaceful mountain setting for enjoying morning coffee, grilling out, or winding down in the fresh air.

For your convenience, Thunder Bear Ranch provides free Wi-Fi and access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club amenities.

  This home is beautiful, large, and well appointed. It was very clean, cozy (but not small), and there was so much to do. Lots of games and books and cooking space/good kitchen. Two large outdoor decks. Just lovely.

  A roomy house very close to Country Club & Marina. Large decks on 2 levels giving the feeling of being in a high tree house. It does not have mountain or lake views. The house could use a little TLC. The sliding glass doors leading to the main deck need to be replaced or repaired, the wifi needs to be upgraded (it does not work for > than 2 devices),the hornet nest in the eaves near the front porch needs to be eradicated.

  A great house for several couples or a large family. A large lower area with a large tv, many dvds & a game center. The upper deck is located in the tree tops like being in a tree house, though, no real views of the mountains or the lake.The wifi was nonfunctional most of the time but management was aware of this problem. A very desirable location & we would definitely stay there again.
